Microcontroller based and wireless device design:
Discuss your application with us in confidence. Whatever it is, we can help. From control systems, to wireless communications, or combination of both, we can help decrease the design cycle time. We will design your device, layout the board(s), build your prototype, perform exhaustive tests (hardware and firmware), take you through the testing phase, and get your device FCC certified. Sensor applications and short distance communications, factory floor automation, HVAC control, and robotics are a good candidate for wireless Zigbee products. Zigbee standard can be found at IEEE802.15.4 publications. We are a Freescale Semiconductors® 802.15.4 Design Partner.

Broadband Local Area Network Design , Installation, and Certification :
We can provide all necessary work for a turnkey Broadband RF distribution system using coaxial cable, fiber optics, or a hybrid thereof. Site survey, requirements study, Broadband Design, Installation, Network Alignment and Certification, are all part of our services. We provide full RF Distortion measurement documentation, and detailed as-built drawings.

Antenna Design:
Antenna Design is an art.
Calculations are not difficult, however, tuning the antenna to meet the specs takes experience. Theoretical calculations are a good starting point but they do not always yield a precise antenna.  We design the antenna based on customer requirements (frequency, gain, shape, etc.), then tune the antenna to match the specifications. A prototype is constructed and tested in the lab. If you are not sure what type of antenna is best for your application we can help you chose one. When requested by the customer, full RF pattern data can be furnished. These tests are performed in an RF chamber.

Wireless Access control system:
Access Control System design and installation helps our clients secure their facilities with state of the art technology. Monitor and record the traffic in each site, or specific areas within a site. We provide you with the technology, you implement a piece of mind! There maybe a lot of areas where installing wires, cables, and conduits is very expensive. Reaching guard gates, other buildings, and in special facilities such as airports, trenching can become very cost prohibitive. Wireless connections between the ACS panels, or between an ACS panel and a checkpoint (or a door) minimizes  the cost, and decreases the implementation time by days. The work can be performed during regular hours with virtually no interruption in the normal work flow. WILDR-MIU provides wireless capability for multiple interfaces: RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, Wiegand, and Clock&Data (mag-stripe). Aside from reader data, WILDR also carries all the control functions such as door position, egress button, electric door strike, tamper, and reader LED signals in real-time. Configuring WILDR parameters is very simple. Connect a laptop to the console port of WILDR and select the interface, operating channel, and data rate. These parameters are stored in flash incase of power loss. There are numerous built-in functions to assist the installer in the field including spectrum analyzer, sweep output, signal strength measurement tool, and more. WILDR also provides power to the reader and the door strike. Visit the resources page for detail information on WILDR.

Education and training:
We provide training in all areas we offer services, including seminars and hands-on labs. The Broadband Network Design course is a comprehensive 5-day training session. Many courses are available in embedded applications including using development tools, C programming for embedded applications, efficient programming of timer functions, interrupt handling, etc..

All courses are scheduled on request basis and for a minimum of 5 students. Please send an email to mehrdad@systems-io.com, or give us a call to discuss your requirements.
